Description:
Responsibilities :- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.- Collaborate with QA analysts and software developers to understand project requirements and design test scenarios.- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.- Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.- Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues and bugs.- Utilize Zephyr for Jira to create and manage test cases, test cycles, and test executions.- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.- Contribute to the enhancement of test frameworks and testing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing and automation.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.- Strong proficiency in Java programming language.- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for automated testing of web applications.- Familiarity with Zephyr for Jira for test case management.- Experience working in Agile development environments.- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.Preferred :- Experience with other automated testing tools/frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.- Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.- Exp 3-5 (ref:hirist.tech)
