Position : SAP IS Retail & CAR ConsultantClient : WiproRole : Lateral / Contract-to-HirePrimary Skill Set : SAP IS Retail & CARSecondary Skill Set : SAP SD OR SAP MMWork Location : Bangalore / Hyderabad / ChennaiJob Description :We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP IS Retail & CAR Consultant to join our team at Wipro. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading IS-Retail projects, with a strong understanding of the retail industry and its trends.Key Responsibilities :- Lead as a Product Owner or in a Techno-Functional role for IS-Retail projects, with at least 6 years of relevant experience.- Possess deep functional knowledge of SAP IS-Retail, particularly in Merchandising Management covering Assortment, Allocation, Pricing, and Promotion.- Proficient in Agile methodologies, including backlog planning and sprint execution. Knowledge of JIRA is preferred for backlog planning and detailing.- Hands-on experience in implementing S4HANA and cloud products is highly desirable.- Preferred experience in IS Retail Solution implementation and good integration skills with third-party systems/tools.- Define systems strategy, develop systems requirements, design and prototype, test, train, and implement practical business solutions under tight deadlines.- Collaborate closely with Functional Business Process Owners to identify business requirements, define solutions, configure, test SAP systems, and document business process design and configuration settings.- Experience or training in Agile and hybrid delivery models. Prior experience in designing and delivering SAP S/4 solutions is a plus.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and engage with client personnel at various levels.- Take ownership of all backlogs of the Retail Team, collaborate closely with the SAP Product Owner, understand requirements, translate them into backlogs, and drive them to closure according to SAP product standards through a self-organized development team.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a Product Owner or Techno-Functional role leading IS-Retail projects.- Strong understanding of the retail industry and its trends.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Certification or training in Agile methodologies is preferred.- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.- Willingness to travel as required.If you meet these qualifications and are passionate about driving innovation in the retail industry through SAP solutions, we would love to hear from you.
