Job Title : Senior Technical Consultant (Extensibility)Job Summary :We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Consultant with expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Extension & Application Development and BTP Cloud Integration. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in these areas and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects from design phase to go-live. The role entails designing and developing technical solutions for side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP, analyzing existing on-premise ABAP applications for potential re-platforming, conducting root cause analysis on custom developed applications on SAP BTP, and establishing development guidelines for customers. Additionally, the candidate should possess extensive knowledge of SAP BTP Application Development and Automation capabilities, proficiency in ABAP Cloud and ABAP Restful Application Programming Model (RAP), and adept understanding of SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP). Leadership skills are essential for leading a team of BTP developers and facilitating technology adoption.Key Responsibilities :- Design and develop technical solutions for side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP.- Analyze existing on-premise ABAP applications for potential re-platforming to SAP BTP.- Conduct root cause analysis on custom developed applications on SAP BTP to identify and rectify issues.- Establish and review development guidelines for customers aiming to develop applications using SAP BTP Programming Models.- Lead the team of BTP developers and assist them in technology adoption.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.- Stay updated with the latest SAP BTP advancements and best practices.Requirements :- Minimum of 5 years' working experience in SAP BTP Extension & Application Development and BTP Cloud Integration.- Experience in at least two projects from design phase to go-live phase in either SAP BTP Extension & Application Development or BTP Cloud Integration area.- Extensive experience with SAP Business Technology Platform Application Development and Automation capabilities.- Proficiency in ABAP Cloud and ABAP Restful Application Programming Model (RAP).- Adept knowledge of SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).- Sound experience with Cloud Application Development on SAP BTP.- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Extensibility (in-app / on-stack) is desirable.- Familiarity with SAP Build would be an added advantage.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members.Education :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.Certifications (Optional) :Relevant SAP certifications in SAP BTP, ABAP Cloud, or related areas would be advantageous. (ref:hirist.tech)
