Digiboxx.com - India's 1st storage & asset management platform is looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Your responsibilities will include outlining the company's technological vision, implementing technology strategies, and ensuring that the technological resources are aligned with the company's business needs. You will work directly under the CEO and will act as both a technology and business expert, making decisions that will impact the current and future operations of the company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : - Setting a vision on how technology will be used in the company. - Lead the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships and external relationships - Ensuring that technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs. - Outline the goals for research and development - Represent the technological agenda in staff meetings and when making hiring decisions - Identify, compare, select and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs - Manage and optimize infrastructure assets to satisfy internal financial targets - Create overall technology standards and practices and ensure adherence - Track, analyse and monitor technology performance metrics - Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture - Build quality assurance and data protection processes - Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance - Staying on top of technology trends and developments - Implement new technologies/products that yield competitive advantage - Oversee the company's hardware and server infrastructure and manage which internal technologies are adopted and implemented - Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation and creativity - Acting as a mentor to team members - Communicate with employees, stakeholders and customers to ensure our company's technologies are used appropriately. - Work closely with Marketing, Business Development and Operations to define and deliver new products and enhancements. - Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards Your Qualification/Skills and Experience: - Previous working experience as a CTO/Head of Technology for 1-2 year(s) - 8+ years of working experience in technological role and 3+ years of managerial experience.- Bachelors from Indian Institute of Technology would be preferred.- In-depth knowledge of web systems architecture, design and development - Good knowledge of frameworks, platforms and CMS systems eg. Angular Js, Android SDK, iOS SDK, REST API, Agile, SQL technologies, Django, Python etc. - Good knowledge of DevOps required for cloud setup and configuration. - Effective negotiation and vendor management skills - Outstanding communication and Customer centric mind-set - Strategic Thinking and proactive problem solver - Extensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future - Experience of working in start-ups and product based companies would be preferred (ref:hirist.tech)
