In this role, you'll play a crucial part in developing and maintaining our business-critical web-based platform. This platform is at the heart of our electronic trading business, facilitating configuration and client preference data management on a global scale. As a core team member, you'll work with cutting-edge technologies to deliver innovative solutions that drive our electronic trading success.Key Responsibilities :- Analyze, design, and develop web applications using the latest technologies with a full-stack approach.- Directly engage with business users, including Trading and Sales teams, to understand requirements and deliver solutions.- Collaborate closely with 3rd line support teams to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.- Mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise and guiding their professional growth.- Participate in global collaboration with peers to influence technical direction and best practices.- Contribute to bug fixing and enhancement efforts for legacy web applications.- Ensure adherence to development practices, including test-driven development with strong OO concepts and SOLID principles.- Utilize C# and JavaScript unit testing frameworks (NUnit, QUnit, Jasmine, Mocha) and mocking frameworks (Moq, RhinoMocks, SinonJS).- Proficiently use version control systems (SVN/GIT), continuous integration tools (TeamCity/Jenkins), and agile (scrum) practices.- Act as a team player, fostering a collaborative environment and effective communication. Technical Skills :- Visual Studio 2019+.- C#, .- .NET 4,7+.- ASP.NET MVC 4+ & Web API 2+.- Single Page Application (SPA) Development.- HTML5 & CSS3, LESS/SASS.- JavaScript libraries/frameworks: JQuery, KnockoutJS, RequireJS.- SQL (Oracle/SQL Server/DB2).- ORM Frameworks: ADO.NET, nHibernate, Entity Framework.- Dependency Injection (DI) Frameworks: Unity, Castle, Ninject. Desired skills :- Business Knowledge: Understanding of equities markets and electronic trading.- Front office experience.- Familiarity with FIX protocol (heart beating, login, sequence numbers, message types, etc.).- Experience with Message Bus Technologies. Additional skills in :- Behavior Driven Development (BDD) with SpecFlow.- Modern JavaScript (ES2015+), Babel.- NodeJS, Bower, Grunt/Gulp.- Front-end frameworks: Angular, React, Ember.- HTML/CSS frameworks: Bootstrap, Foundation.Exp : 4 to 6 years of experience.
