Assist with maintenance and design of internal Jenkins as a Service (JaaS) architecture. Support internal Jenkins (JaaS) users w/ issues and requests. Attend and report on the status of support tickets. Work to resolve these support tickets in a timely manner. Work closely with IT partners to solve complex networking, coding, and software related issues. Setup and maintain the DevOps tools and infrastructure for software projects. Partner with architects and managers to understand customer requirements and translate them into development tasks. Work on ways to automate and improve development and release processes for R&D teams. Demonstrate passion for learning and seek development opportunities for self and team.Job Qualifications :Required :BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline Windows administration VMWare experience 3+ years of DevOps experience 3+ years of Docker experience 2+ years of production Kubernetes/Rancher experience 2+ years of software development experience Linux system administration experience Solid understanding of Jenkins CI/CD development flows and impact of DevOps on architecture Experience with Git and Git source control systems such as Bitbucket. Experience with log management / log analytics such as ELK/EFK, Splunk. Experience with Python or Bash scripting Experience with deployment, management, and monitoring of cloud-based software applications to production environments Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must Excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time A deep understanding of Windows, Mac, Redhat desktop architecture for build support and development Experience debugging C++, Node, NPM, Conan software buildsDesired : Experience in modern object-oriented software design methodologies and Agile practicesExperience with JIRA Service Desk (JSD) ticketing system (ref:hirist.tech)
