Position Overview:We are looking for an experienced MUMPS Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining MUMPS-based applications and systems. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop technical solutions, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.Key Responsibilities:- Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain MUMPS-based applications and systems according to project requirements and industry best practices.- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system analysts, and project managers, to gather requirements and develop technical solutions.- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.- Testing and Debugging: Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability.- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to improve code quality and maintainability.- Continuous Learning: Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to MUMPS development and share knowledge with the team.- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in MUMPS-based applications and systems in a timely manner.- Documentation: Document technical specifications, system configurations, and code changes to facilitate knowledge transfer and maintain system documentation.Key Skills:- 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in MUMPS development.- Strong proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining MUMPS-based applications and systems.- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.- Experience in unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure software quality and reliability.- Familiarity with code review processes and providing constructive feedback to peers.- Eagerness to learn and stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends related to MUMPS development.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.- Documentation skills to document technical specifications, system configurations, and code changes.
