Designation : Principal Engineer DevOps Experience : 9 to 12 years Location : Bangalore Education : Bachelor/Masters in Engineering or EquivalentPrimary responsibilities :Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them.Assist other departments in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other members of the team.Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives.Maintaining the availability of the applications Good troubleshooting skills- System and Web Applications Work in cross geography environments. Maintaining 15 DCs across the GlobeMinimum requirements :Bachelor/Masters in Engineering or Equivalent. Experience with microservice technologies like Docker, Mesos, Marathon, KubernetesExperience with Hypervisor technologies like- Nutanix, VMWare, OpenStack(preferred)Experience with Data storage technologies like ZooKeeper, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Riak, MongoDB, SolrExperience with streaming engines preferred Kafka. Experience with any of the public cloud AWS or Azure Experience with Big data technologies like Hadoop, HBase, PIG, Spark Experience with Python and automation tools. Experience with HAProxy and equivalent web servers. Experience on monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix and Prometheus Strong knowledge on Linux OS, DNS, DHCP server, PXE boot Ticketing tool- Jira (ref:hirist.tech)
