Description:
Job Description :- 5+ years of experience in data testing, quality assurance, or data management- Familiarity with data testing and quality assurance tools, such as data profiling tools, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) testing, and database testing tools.- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis to query, manipulate, and validate data.- Basic knowledge of test automation tools and scripting languages for automating data testing.- Understanding of data governance principles and practices - Develop data testing strategies, plans, and methodologies to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.- Execute data validation tests, including data profiling, data reconciliation, and data integrity checks, to identify anomalies and data quality issues.- Implement and maintain data testing automation frameworks and scripts to streamline and automate repetitive testing processes.- Create test cases and test scripts to validate data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across various data sources, databases, and data pipelines.- Continuously monitor and analyze data quality metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement- Detect, document, and report data quality issues, inconsistencies, and anomalies to the relevant teams for resolution.- Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and other teams to understand data structures, sources, and transformations.- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data testing processes, test cases, and test results.- Generate and provide reports on data quality metrics and findings to management and stakeholders.- Adhere to data governance policies and practices, contributing to the development and enforcement of data management standards.- Continuously improve data testing processes, tools, and methodologies to adapt to evolving data requirements and technologies.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders.
