The Opportunity:We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Quality Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you'll play a vital role in safeguarding the integrity of our data by designing, implementing, and monitoring data quality processes and solutions. You'll leverage your expertise in the banking domain and data management tools to ensure data accuracy and reliability across the organization.Responsibilities:- Build and implement data quality solutions and rules (using SQL) to identify and address inconsistencies in key business data sets.- Manage and develop elements such as quality rules and business glossary entries within the data management tool (IBM Infosphere Data Governance).- Analyze data quality metrics and proactively identify data quality issues.- Investigate the root cause of data inconsistencies and recommend corrective actions and improvements to data acquisition, storage, and processing systems.- Develop and maintain data quality dashboards and reports to communicate data quality trends and progress to stakeholders.- Collaborate with business users and IT teams to implement data quality assurance initiatives and improve data governance practices.- Champion data quality best practices and provide user training on data quality concepts and procedures.- Work effectively as part of an Agile team to deliver data management services that align with our business strategy.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field (preferred).- 4-6 years of experience as a Data Quality Analyst, with a strong focus on the banking domain.- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and monitoring data quality solutions.- Expertise in writing SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI and data management tools like IBM Infosphere Data Governance.- Strong understanding of data quality concepts, data governance principles, and data management best practices.Essential Skills:- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- A passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with emerging data quality trends and technologies.
