JOB DESCRIPTION : - 4 - 15 years Experience as a Senior Linux SDE For external candidates, systems administrator, devops engineer (On Call experience Not really required) Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills Automation experience.- Strong programming experience (prefer golang and/or python). - Strong config management experience (Salt, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc).Nice to have : - Familiarity with Running Java Enterprise software Managing Apple MDM Out of Band Management (IPMI/Redfish/etc) Alternate platforms macOS Android iOS.Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain Linux-based systems and applications. - Troubleshoot complex technical issues in Linux environments and provide timely resolutions. - Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline system administration tasks and improve operational efficiency. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions. - Participate in the planning and execution of system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery exercises. - Monitor system performance and capacity, proactively identify potential issues, and implement preventive measures. - Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and maintain system integrity. - Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Linux systems administration, automation, and DevOps methodologies. Requirements : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 4-15 years of experience as a Senior Linux Software Development Engineer. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions. - Experience with automation tools and frameworks for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. - Strong programming skills in Golang and/or Python. - Experience with configuration management tools such as Salt, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. - Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
