Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and implement automated data pipelines using Snowflake as the primary data warehouse.- Automate data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes utilizing CI/CD practices.- Configure and manage infrastructure for data pipelines, potentially including cloud-based solutions like Kubernetes.- Manage and maintain data security and access controls within Snowflake.- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, proactively identifying and resolving issues.- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Continuously improve data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Snowflake and DevOps technologies.- Document technical processes and procedures for future reference.Qualifications :- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer or similar role, with a focus on data operations.- Proven experience in designing and implementing automated data pipelines.- Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, functionalities, and best practices.- Experience with CI/CD methodologies and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, etc.).- Working knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (a plus).- Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.- The ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
