Overview:- We are seeking a skilled Kotlin Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our team.- The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Kotlin-based applications for our projects.- This role requires expertise in Kotlin programming language, along with proficiency in Android development and backend application development using Kotlin.Responsibilities :Kotlin Development : Design, develop, and maintain Kotlin-based applications for various platforms, including Android, backend servers, and web applications.- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.Android Development : - Develop native Android applications using Kotlin programming language.- Implement user interfaces, business logic, and data persistence features to create high-quality Android apps that meet user requirements and performance standards.-Backend Development : - Build backend services and APIs using Kotlin and frameworks such as Ktor or Spring Boot.- Implement RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms, data processing, and integration with databases to support frontend and mobile applications.- Database Integration: Integrate Kotlin applications with databases, including SQL and NoSQL databases such as SQLite, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Firebase Realtime Database.- Design database schemas, perform data manipulation, and ensure data integrity and security.Testing : Write unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests for Kotlin applications to ensure code quality, reliability, and robustness.- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix issues promptly.Code Reviews : Participate in code reviews to provide feedback on code quality, design patterns, and best practices.- Collaborate with team members to improve code readability, maintainability, and performance.Documentation : Create technical documentation, including design documents, API documentation, and code comments, to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members.Version Control : Use version control systems such as Git to manage code repositories, track changes, and collaborate with other developers.- Follow branching strategies and merge workflows to ensure code stability and traceability.- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for Kotlin applications.- Use tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI to enable rapid and reliable software delivery.Stay Updated : Stay updated with Kotlin language features, Android development frameworks, backend technologies, and industry trends.- Continuously improve technical skills and knowledge through self-learning and professional development activities.Requirements :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.- 3 to 5 years of experience in Kotlin development, with a strong understanding of Kotlin language features and best practices.- Experience in Android app development using Kotlin, including building user interfaces, implementing business logic, and integrating with backend services.- Proficiency in backend application development using Kotlin and frameworks such as Ktor or Spring Boot.- Knowledge of database systems, SQL, and NoSQL databases, and experience in database integration with Kotlin applications.- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, Agile practices, and DevOps principles.- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD tools is a plus.- Familiarity with other programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python is advantageous.
