Description:
About the Role :- We are seeking a highly experienced and certified Senior AWS Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and managing our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).- You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of AWS services and best practices to build secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions that meet our business needs.Responsibilities :Cloud Infrastructure & Services :- Design, deploy, and manage robust cloud infrastructure on AWS, utilizing services like S3 for storage, EC2 for compute, VPC for networking, and Lambda for serverless functions.- Integrate Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK) for real-time data streaming and utilize OpenShift container orchestration platform (potentially using AWS service Amazon ROSA).Containerization & Kubernetes :- Possess strong understanding of containerization technologies and experience installing and configuring Elastic Stack on a containerized environment for log management and data analysis.- Demonstrate proficiency with Kubernetes concepts such as Pods, Deployments, Services, and Persistent Volumes for managing containerized applications efficiently.Automation & CI/CD :- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices for automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.- Integrate AWS services with CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment of cloud applications.Security & Monitoring :- Configure and implement robust security measures to ensure the protection of cloud resources and data within the AWS environment.- Establish effective monitoring practices to identify and address potential issues proactively.Qualifications :- 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or related role, with a strong focus on AWS technologies.- Demonstrated expertise in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS.- Experience with various AWS services including S3, EC2, VPC, Lambda, MSK, and familiarity with OpenShift container orchestration platform.- Strong understanding of containerization technologies and Kubernetes concepts.- Experience with infrastructure automation tools and CI/CD methodologies.- Experience with security best practices and monitoring tools in a cloud environment.Bonus Points :- AWS Certifications (e.g. , AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional)- Experience with other cloud platforms (e. g., Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
