About the Role :- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Governance Analyst to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and consistency of our data assets.- You will leverage your expertise in data governance principles and Informatica tools to implement and manage effective data governance practices across the organization.Responsibilities :Data Governance Policy & Implementation :- Champion the development and implementation of strong data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance.- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to define data ownership, access controls, and usage guidelines.- Monitor adherence to established data governance policies and conduct audits as needed.Data Quality Management :- Design and implement data quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes to identify and remediate data errors and inconsistencies.- Develop data quality metrics to measure and track data quality improvements over time.- Lead the implementation of a comprehensive data quality framework to govern data management practices.Data Modeling & Design :- Participate in the design and definition of data domains to ensure data is categorized and organized effectively.- Collaborate with data architects and engineers to define data standards and ensure consistent data structures across systems.Informatica Expertise :- Possess strong experience in implementing, configuring, and managing Informatica Data Integration (Informatica Cloud Data Integration - ICDI preferred) for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.- Utilize Informatica tools to automate data governance tasks and improve data quality.Qualifications :- 3+ years of experience in data governance, data quality management, or a related role.- Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.- Experience in designing and implementing data quality frameworks and metrics.- Proficiency in data modeling concepts and data domain design.- Proven experience implementing, configuring, and managing Informatica Data Integration tools (ICDI preferred).- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Bonus Points :- Experience with data governance methodologies (e. g. , Data Management International - DMI).- Knowledge of data lineage tools and data catalog solutions.- Experience working in Agile environments.
