About the Role :- We are seeking a highly experienced IT Security Architect to join our team and play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's IT infrastructure and data.- You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security architectures that align with industry best practices and regulatory compliance requirements.Responsibilities :Security Architecture & Design :- Develop and implement secure configuration management processes to ensure consistent security posture across systems.- Evaluate proposed security architectures and designs against security requirements outlined in acquisition documents.- Leverage your understanding of NIST 800-53 Rev 5 to design and implement secure solutions.Security Documentation & Compliance :- Create and maintain comprehensive System Security Plans (SSPs) that document security policies, -procedures, and controls.- Ensure security architectures comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.Cloud Security Expertise :- Possess in-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure security for multi-tenant environments.- Design and implement security controls to protect data and applications in the cloud.Multi-Layered Security :- Apply your knowledge of multi-level security (MLS) systems and cross-domain solutions to safeguard sensitive information.Security Integration & Collaboration :- Skillfully integrate cybersecurity requirements into proposed solutions to ensure optimal security posture.- Proactively identify and address potential cybersecurity and privacy risks associated with internal and external connections.Communication & Collaboration :- Collaborate effectively with IT teams, business stakeholders, and security vendors to achieve security objectives.- Clearly communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Required Skills & Qualifications :- 5+ years of experience as an IT Security Architect or a related security role.- Proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining secure IT architectures.- In-depth understanding of security principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53), and best practices.- Strong knowledge of system security plans (SSPs) and their creation process.- Expertise in cloud security for multi-tenant environments.- Familiarity with multi-level security (MLS) systems and cross-domain solutions.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.Bonus Points :- Experience in a similar industry or domain.- Certifications in security frameworks (e.g. , CISSP, CISA).- Experience with security automation tools.
