Description:
Key Responsibilities :- Provide expert production support for application teams utilizing our platform, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.- Diagnose and resolve complex issues in production environments, collaborating closely with development teams and stakeholders.- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to proactively identify and address potential issues.- Automate repetitive tasks and streamline operational processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.- Contribute to the design, development, and optimization of Java backend components to improve scalability, performance, and maintainability.- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents in a timely manner, driving root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.- Mentor junior team members and share best practices in production support and software engineering.Requirements:- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.- 6+ years of experience in Java backend development with a strong understanding of software engineering principles.- Proven experience in production support and site reliability engineering, with a focus on ensuring the stability and resilience of mission-critical systems.- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues in distributed systems, including experience with monitoring and observability tools.- Solid understanding of automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.- Prior experience in mentoring junior team members and driving continuous improvement initiatives is a plus.
