Description:
Responsibilities : - Lead the management, planning, scheduling, and controlling of software builds through various stages and environments.- Coordinate with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure alignment of release plans with project timelines and business objectives.- Act as a gatekeeper to ensure the integrity of live technical and business aspects during deployment.- Work to minimize risks and maximize product quality before and during deployment.- Provide strategic oversight to streamline the transition of software from development to operational stages.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve release-related issues and dependencies.- Develop and maintain release management processes and procedures.- Implement and improve release automation and deployment tools and practices.- Monitor release performance and metrics to identify areas for improvement.- Communicate release plans, status updates, and issues to stakeholders and management.Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.- Proven experience as a Release Manager or similar role.- Experience with cloud and on-premises release management.- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and release management processes.- Excellent project management and organizational skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.- Experience with release automation and deployment tools.- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
