Responsibilities : - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 30+ engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success and professional development.- Manage operational budget and expenses for the engineering team, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.- Perform engineering design evaluations to ensure projects are within resource, budget, and scheduling constraints.- Set, manage, and report KPIs to measure progress and facilitate data-driven decision-making.- Oversee the day-to-day activities of engineering teams and project managers, ensuring execution of software development projects against delivery commitments and project plans.- Seek ways to simplify and standardize designs, operations, and deployment plans, focusing on reducing complexity and providing performance, agility, and scalability.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives and priorities.- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering organization.- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and excellence in engineering practices.Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.- Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience leading engineering teams.- Over 12 years of development experience in a large-scale, mission-critical environment.- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Proven track record of hiring, retaining, and mentoring top engineering talent.- Experience managing operational budgets and expenses.- Strong understanding of engineering design principles and methodologies.- Proficiency in setting and managing KPIs to drive performance and results.- Experience overseeing the execution of software development projects against delivery commitments and project plans.- Ability to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
