Description:

Responsibilities:- Will be responsible for building large-scale two-way audio/video conferencing solutions.- Supporting team leads in working with multiple vendors and partners as well as teams across different internal business units.- Maintaining and enhancing existing streaming applications.Minimum Qualifications:- 5 years of relevant work experience, including industry experience.- Experience in C/C++.- Strong experience working with Python.- Experience working with SIP, H.323, MsSIP.- Experience with online video both VOD and WebRTC.- Experience working with and contributing to open source technologies.- Experience in real time/live video encoding, decoding.- Experienced with automated testing.- Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving and technical innovation.- Knowledge of Linux development environments and open source tools/platforms and common computer networks knowledge (e.g. TCP, DNS, MTU).Plus:- Experience with open source video processing tools and codecs (e.g. FFmpeg, MEncoder, x264, x265, aac etc).- Familiarity with file container formats such as ISOBMFF and MPEG-2 Transport streams, and video streaming protocols such as DASH and HLS, and DRM technologies.- Experience with GNOME development.- Experience with live streaming such as APPLE IOS, MPEG-DASH.- Knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SASS and REST style architectures.
