About the job :VARITE is looking for a qualified Data Migration Lead for one of its clients located in Mumbai.About the client :Our client is a financial and risk advisory firm which provide investment researchWhat Do We Do :VARITE is a global IT company providing software and engineering consulting and team augmentation services to Fortune 1000 companies in USA, CANADA, and INDIA. VARITE is currently a primary and direct vendor to the leading corporations in the areas of Cloud, Data Sciences, Infrastructure Application Software, Mobility, Robotics, Banking & Financial Systems.Job Responsibilities :- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and coordinate data migration projects.- Define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.- Analyze source data to identify any quality issues or inconsistencies that need addressing before migration.- Develop robust data migration strategies - Define mapping rules to ensure accurate data transfer.- Establish transformation rules for data harmonization.- Implement validation rules to maintain data integrity.- Execute test plans to validate the accuracy and completeness of migrated data.- Communicate progress and issues to stakeholders, including business users and technical teams.- Lead the migration of learning data from legacy systems to Oracle Learning Cloud, aligned with Oracle's best practices.- Provide guidance and support to team members involved in the data migration process.- Review existing learning content - Identify and retire unwanted or obsolete content.- Streamline the learning repository for efficiency.- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations during content review.- Develop comprehensive process documentation:- Detailing how the new learning organization will utilize Oracle Learning Cloud.- Covering data access, reporting, and maintenance procedures.- Facilitate smooth adoption and ongoing management.What we are looking for:- Proven experience as an Oracle Cloud Data Migration Lead.- Solid understanding of Oracle Learning Cloud and preferably 360 Learning.- Excellent project management skills, analytical abilities, and problem-solving capabilities.- Experience in using Articulate/other authoring tools a plus.- Strong understanding of data transfer protocols.
