Sr MEAN Stack Developer

Job Summary: ENO8 is seeking a highly skilled Senior MEAN Full Stack Developer with AWS experience to join our remote team on a contract basis. As the sole developer on the project day-to-day, you will need to be very strong technically and self-reliant. You will lead the development of efficient and scalable web applications, leveraging your expertise in the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js) and AWS services. You will work independently while overlapping with the US Central Time Zone to deliver high-quality software updates and support live production environments. Key Responsibilities: Lead and actively contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to testing, development, and support. Design and build full-stack applications using the MEAN stack, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance. Focus primarily on backend development with Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB. Manage data modeling and database integration with MongoDB. Develop basic CRUD-based frontend interfaces using Angular, emphasizing backend development. Architect and implement efficient AWS solutions using services such as ECS (Fargate), VPC, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, WAF, ECR, IAM, and AWS Certificate Manager. Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in development, testing, and documentation. Embrace test-driven development to ensure high-quality code coverage and platform reliability Collaborate directly with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Document progress, challenges, and improvements clearly and consistently. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years if experience as a developer working on live production software. At least 4 years of experience with AWS services and solutions. 4+ years of experience working with the MEAN stack. Strong backend development skills, particularly in Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB. Familiarity with Docker. Demonstrated experience with core AWS services like ECS (Fargate), VPC, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, WAF, ECR, IAM, and AWS Certificate Manager. Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Effective English communication skills and experience in client-facing roles. Ability to work with a partial overlap with the US Central Time Zone (up to 10 am or 11 am daily). Preferred Skills: Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
