Description:
Job Description :- Lead timing closure efforts for digital designs, utilizing static timing analysis (STA) to meet timing requirements across pre-layout and post-layout stages.- Develop pre- and post-layout timing constraints to guide physical implementation and achieve timing closure goals.- Collaborate with design teams to understand design requirements and develop functional and DFT (Design-for-Test) constraints to ensure proper functionality and testability.- Integrate IP-level constraints into the overall design framework, ensuring consistency and compatibility with the rest of the design.- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PERL, TCL, and EDA tool-specific scripting languages to streamline design tasks and improve efficiency.- Utilize Design Management System Automation (DMSA) tools and custom scripts for timing fixes and optimization at both full chip and block levels.- Work closely with physical design teams to address timing-related issues and optimize design performance through design modifications and iterations.- Stay updated with the latest advancements in timing closure methodologies, EDA tools, and automation techniques to improve design methodologies and workflows.- Experience with handshake processes with design teams to develop functional and DFT constraints.- Proficiency in automation scripting languages such as PERL, TCL, and EDA tool-specific scripting languages.
