Job Description : We are looking for a top-notch HEAD OF ENGINEERING, for our pre-series-A client, headquartered in Ahmedabad. An enterprise SAAS-based product company that helps anyone build a Marketplace in minutes and connect with 1000s of Sellers on the world's largest Brand Directory. Powering 650+ merchants across 50+ countries, this SaaS platform is fast, cheap and better than any other seller Central, thus saving millions of dollars for the sellers which they would otherwise invest in creating tech for onboarding vendors, building catalogues, managing orders, shipping, invoicing, commissions and reconciliation.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the founding team transforming the way e-commerce operates across the world. You will witness the zero-to-one journey of a marquee investor-backed startup. You would have a full view of the business with a free hand to create a futuristic stack which scales to millions of users across the world.Tech stack :We work with different stacks like PHP+Laravel, MySQL, Vue.js, AWS, Redis, Node.js, Golang, Java, Python, and ReactJS. microservices written in other languages, integrations with RESTful APIs etc. Flexible on the stack to be used in the future. Requirements : 1. You are a Btech, BSc, or Mtech from an IIT or a Tier 1 institute2. Experience of 5+ years building scalable Products. Understanding of MVC design patterns working with datasets of big sizes, threads, microservices and e-commerce carts3. Have experience in tech stacks building WMS, OMS or eCommerce plugins on Shopify/Woocommerce/Magento, product exp and architect exp4. Experience in hiring and building world-class tech teams5. You don't hesitate to voice your opinion6. You have a strong technical foundation7. You want to execute scalable/high-performance code on either the frontend and backend or both understanding complex technical areas along the way8. You want to build efficient and reusable systems that drive complex web and mobile applications9. Create software features that are robust, reliable, and user-friendly for both internal teams and our customer base.10. Run the full software development lifecycle - problem definition, design, development, testing, demoing, and supporting production use of the features you own.Extra awesome if you are :1. A fan of the speed of startups, having worked at one or more (including maybe your own) before.2. Participate regularly in competitive hackathons3. Familiar with modern open-source technologies4.
