Job Title : Backend Engineer (Python)Location : Bengaluru, IndiaJob Type: Full-timeExperience: 1-6 yearsJob Description :We are seeking a skilled and passionate Backend Engineer to develop and maintain robust backend services and APIs. As part of our engineering team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build and enhance applications in a scalable and secure manner. This role is crucial for driving our backend initiatives and ensuring high performance of our services.Responsibilities :- Develop and maintain scalable, robust, and high-performance backend systems and APIs.- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python.- Design and implement database schemas that represent and support business processes.- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.- Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.- Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.- Implement security and data protection solutions.- Assess and prioritize feature requests.- Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.Key Qualifications :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.- 1-6 years of experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.- Expertise in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework (such as Django, Flask, FastAPI).- Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries.- Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.- Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture.- Good understanding of server-side templating languages.- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.- Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.- Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python.- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.- Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job.Nice to Have : - Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).- Contributions to open-source projects.- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.- Experience with CI/CD systems.- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
