Job Description :We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our growing team! In this crucial role, you will play a key part in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will leverage your expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful project outcomes.The Ideal Candidate :- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a proven track record of success in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.- Experience working directly with stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs and translate them into actionable requirements.- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with a large team of developers, designers, and other IT professionals.- Strong understanding of formal requirements gathering methodologies and best practices (e.g., use cases, user stories, interviews, workshops).- Extensive experience in developing various types of requirements documents including:- Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)- Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs)- User (Stakeholder) Requirements Documents- Quality-of-Service (QoS) Requirements Documents (non-functional)Report Specifications :- Experience in creating and maintaining Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs) to track the flow of requirements throughout the development lifecycle.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for creating clear and concise documentation.- Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio for diagramming workflows and process flows (a plus).- Familiarity with software design tools (e.g., UML) is beneficial.- Basic understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL) queries and tools is a plus.- Possession of an IT Analyst certification through the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) is highly desirable.Responsibilities :- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document their needs and expectations.- Facilitate workshops and conduct interviews to elicit requirements.- Develop and maintain comprehensive requirements documents using various methodologies.- Define acceptance criteria for successful project completion.- Create and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs) to track requirements throughout the development process.- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure requirements are understood and translated into actionable solutions.- Participate in project planning and estimation activities.- Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.- Maintain clear and concise communication with all stakeholders.- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and methodologies in business analysis.
