Job Description :The PCO/PCSM Technical Consultant will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the implementation, customization, and maintenance of PCO (Project Costing and Billing) and PCSM (Project Contract and Service Management) modules within Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of project accounting and service management concepts, coupled with hands-on experience in Oracle EBS implementation and customization.Key Responsibilities :Implementation and Configuration :- Collaborate with clients to understand their project accounting and service management requirements and translate them into effective solutions using PCO and PCSM modules within Oracle EBS.- Configure PCO and PCSM modules to meet the specific needs of clients, including setup of project structures, billing rules, revenue recognition methods, and project cost controls.- Customize screens, reports, and workflows as per project requirements.- Conduct testing and validation to ensure the stability and functionality of configured solutions.System Integration and Data Migration :- Integrate PCO and PCSM modules with other Oracle EBS modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.-Develop and execute data migration strategies to ensure smooth transition of project-related data into PCO and PCSM modules.- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to define data mapping and transformation rules.System Administration and Support :- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for PCO and PCSM modules within Oracle EBS, including troubleshooting issues and resolving technical problems.- Perform system upgrades, patches, and migrations as necessary.- Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and reliability.- Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides and technical specifications.Business Analysis and Process Improvement :- Analyze project accounting and service management processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation within PCO and PCSM modules.- Collaborate with project management and finance teams to gather requirements and propose solutions to enhance project costing, billing, and revenue recognition workflows.-Participate in the design and implementation of new functionalities and enhancements to meet evolving business needs.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.- 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting Oracle EBS solutions, with specific focus on PCO and PCSM modules.- Strong understanding of project accounting and service management concepts, including project costing, billing, revenue recognition, and contract management.- Proficiency in Oracle EBS module configuration, particularly PCO and PCSM.- Experience with Oracle EBS integration with other modules and external systems is highly desirable.- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.- Certification in Oracle EBS or relevant Oracle certifications is a plus.
