Job Description :We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer with a strong backend focus to join our growing team as a Team Lead. Responsibilities :1) Backend :- Design and develop APIs using NestJS and Node.js- Build and maintain backend services using best practices and design patterns.- Implement data access logic utilizing PostgreSQL and TypeORM, demonstrating strong fundamentals for databases and SQL.- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (unit and end-to-end) using Jest.- Optimize backend functionalities for performance and scalability.- Ensure data security and integrity throughout the application.2) Leadership :- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them grow their skills and knowledge.- Conduct code reviews, ensuring code quality, adherence to best practices, and maintainability.- Take ownership and lead the development process, setting clear goals, assigning tasks, and managing timelines.- Foster a collaborative and supportive environment within the team, promoting open communication and problem-solving.3) Frontend :- Collaborate with front-end developers to understand UI/UX requirements and translate them into feasible API contracts.- Contribute to the development of reusable and maintainable front-end components as needed.- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in both front-end and back-end development.What makes you an ideal candidate :- 3+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a strong emphasis on backend development.- In-depth knowledge of Node.js, NestJS, and JavaScript (ES6+).- Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and SQL, including proficiency in writing complex queries, optimizing for performance, and adhering to best practices- Proven experience with ORM tools (TypeORM), unit and end-to-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest), and CI/CD pipelines.- Experience with version control systems (Git).- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) (ref:hirist.tech)
