Job Description :The SAP UI5 Fiori Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing user interfaces and applications using SAPUI5 and Fiori design principles. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 8 years of experience in SAPUI5 development, with a strong understanding of SAP Fiori architecture, guidelines, and best practices. This role requires hands-on experience in building responsive and intuitive user interfaces for SAP applications.Key Responsibilities :UI Design and Development :- Design and develop user interfaces for SAP applications using SAPUI5 framework and Fiori design principles.- Implement responsive and adaptive layouts that deliver consistent user experiences across devices and screen sizes.- Develop custom UI controls, themes, and templates to meet specific project requirements.Fiori App Development :- Develop Fiori apps following SAP Fiori design guidelines and patterns, including transactional apps, analytical apps, and fact sheets.- Implement Fiori app configurations such as launchpad settings, tiles, and navigation targets.- Customize standard Fiori apps or create custom Fiori apps using SAP Web IDE or SAP Business Application Studio.OData Service Integration :- Integrate SAPUI5 applications with OData services and SAP Gateway to retrieve and manipulate data from SAP backend systems. - Develop custom OData services using SAP Gateway Service Builder or SAP Cloud Platform Backend service.Performance Optimization :- Optimize UI5 applications for performance and responsiveness by minimizing server round trips and optimizing client-side rendering.- Implement client-side caching mechanisms to improve application performance and reduce network latency.Testing and Quality Assurance :- Write unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure the quality and reliability of SAPUI5 applications.- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to peers to maintain code quality and consistency.- Perform accessibility testing to ensure compliance with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards.Version Control and Deployment :- Use version control systems such as Git to manage source code and collaborate with team members.- Set up continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.- Deploy SAPUI5 applications to SAP Fiori Launchpad or SAP Cloud Platform for production use.Documentation and Knowledge Sharing :- Document technical designs, implementation details, and configuration settings for SAPUI5 applications.- Share knowledge and best practices with team members through code reviews, tech talks, and internal training sessions.- Contribute to the SAPUI5 community by sharing insights, code samples, and best practices through forums, blogs, or open-source projects.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAPUI5 development, with a strong understanding of SAP Fiori architecture and design principles.- Proficiency in SAPUI5 framework, Fiori elements, and Fiori app development tools such as SAP Web IDE or SAP Business Application Studio.- Experience with SAP Gateway, OData services, and SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration.- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices.- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.- SAPUI5 certification or SAP Fiori certification is a plus.
