Description:
Key Responsibilities :- Functional Testing : Conduct functional testing of Guidewire Policy/Claims/Billing Center applications to ensure their accuracy and reliability.- Integration Testing : Test Guidewire integration points and configurations to verify seamless integration with other systems and applications.- Rate Testing : Perform rate testing to validate the accuracy of insurance rate calculations within Guidewire applications.- Automation Testing : Utilize Guidewire (GT) test automation framework to automate test cases and streamline the testing process.- ACE Certification : Hold an ACE certification to demonstrate proficiency in Guidewire applications and testing methodologies.- Regression Testing : Conduct thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved to ensure no new issues arise.- Agile Development : Work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum development process, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.- Test Plan Creation : Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases to guide testing activities and ensure comprehensive coverage.- Communication and Collaboration : Collaborate closely with other team members and departments to communicate testing status, issues, and resolutions effectively.- Documentation : Maintain excellent documentation of testing processes, results, and defects, ensuring transparency and traceability.- Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on Guidewire applications.- Strong expertise in functional testing of Guidewire Policy/Claims/Billing Center applications.- Experience in testing Guidewire integration points and configurations.- ACE certification in Guidewire applications.- Hands-on experience with Guidewire (GT) test automation framework.- Prior experience in the Insurance P&C domain is preferable.- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.- Familiarity with automation best practices and their applicability in testing.- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.- Excellent documentation and communication skills.- Self-driven, independent, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.- Strong aptitude, communication, and team handling skills.
