The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in SQL Server DBA, with a strong focus on implementation, configuration, maintenance, performance tuning, and high availability (HA) environments. This role involves 24x7 rotational shifts, and we are looking for candidates available for immediate joining.Key Responsibilities :- SQL Server DBA: Implement, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance and high availability to support various applications.- Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance, addressing bottlenecks and ensuring smooth database operations.- Database Maintenance: Manage patching, installation, and upgrade of SQL Server instances in standalone and HA environments.- DB Migration: Plan and execute database migrations, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity during transitions.- System Monitoring: Continuously monitor system health, detect potential issues, and take proactive measures to prevent downtime.- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, providing technical support to internal teams and customers as needed.- Security and Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices, maintaining a secure database environment.- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration and support for database-related requirements.Skills and Qualifications :Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience : 5-8 years of experience in SQL Server DBA, with a focus on implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning.Technical Skills :- Strong proficiency in SQL Server architecture and fundamentals.- Experience with high-availability (HA) environments, including clustering and Always On Availability Groups.- Hands-on experience in DB migration planning and execution.- Knowledge of database monitoring tools and techniques.- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex database issues.- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal teams and customers.Shift Flexibility : Willingness to work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment.
