Role Details :This role requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, infrastructure change management expertise.Hands-on Engineering :- Engineering experience across the Server, Storage, Private Cloud, Containerization, and Cloud Operations- Public Cloud Architecture, Design and Operations Management, Cost Optimisation using FinOps tools- Strong knowledge of Software Defined Infrastructure, Software Defined Data Centre Networking, Software Defined Data Centre- Strong understanding of how and where Infrastructure Automation (Ansible, Terraform etc) need to be deployed across the infrastructure estate build and maintenance- Disaster Recovery Switchover Automation for entire Production data center to Disaster Recovery Data Center- Working knowledge with Switches, Routers, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Proxy, WAF, End User Security, Data Centre Interconnect Technology2, Network Security, Microsoft Azure Active Directory Architecture - Ability to get infrastructure solutions up-and-running in shortest time- Adopting best security and infrastructure practices- Implementation of Modern Observability stack Infrastructure for effective IT Service Management, Production Support of Infrastructure and a deep understanding of industry trends and best practices.- Interactions with business leaders/stakeholders, users, vendors, and internal teams for effective delivery - Strong knowledge of IT Security processes and frameworks for Production Environment Management- Strong knowledge of Regulatory compliances needs/circulars and Internal Audit Processes - No. of employees handled - 30-50Overall Job Description :- Delivers robust, efficient and professional operational IT service to key stakeholders- Manages the infrastructure elements of the IT project pipeline and monitors on-going progress against plan to ensure delivery on time and within budget.- Maintains documentation of systems, maps and architectural diagrams, procedures, end user documentation and technical information.- Strong expertise in on premise infrastructure design, implementation, and management with a deep understanding of traditional data center technologies, virtualisation, server hardware and networking (DCWAN, Branch/SDWAN)- Strong expertise in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).- Experience with DevSecOps & SRE practices, and infrastructure automation.- Implement effective IT Infrastructure Architecture governance as essential requirement - Improve technology platforms stability, performance, scalability, and fault tolerance across all IT systems. Troubleshoot recurring issues and running the triage for problem solving/RCA.Essential Skills :- 10+ years in leadership roles, with a proven track record of leading modern infrastructure engineering, software defined datacenters, modernization of IT infrastructure initiatives in cost effective manner.- Strong implementation experience of Modern Observability Stack, Infrastructure Automation, Software Defined Infrastructure, High Availability, Resiliency and Self-Healing of Infrastructure- Implementation of automated infrastructure maintenance and switchover across multiple data centers on premise and cloud- Infrastructure Inventory Management using modern toolsets - Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a track record of making sound decisions in complex and ambiguous situations.- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results within specified timelines and budgets.- Knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices - Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and leading change in a rapidly evolving business landscape.- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
