Principal Software Engineer Position Responsibilities : - Participate in the full development cycle, end-to-end, from design, implementation, and testing to documentation, delivery, and maintenance.- Translate functional requirements into robust, efficient, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture. - Evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing software products and tools. - Design, code and test distributed software applications, tools, systems and services.- Maintain, upgrade and improve the performance of existing software.- Oversee and manage the technical aspects of software engineering projects.- Train and supervise software engineers.Basic Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field. - 12+ years of coding experience with at least 8 years experience in Node JS, knowledge of NestJS and Jest frameworks is a plus. - Experience in designing and building APIs and microservices for data intensive applications. - 6+ years of experience with client-side UI technologies like NextJS, React JS, VueJS or similar frameworks. - 6+ years of experience in supervising technical team working in a SCRUM framework and performing code reviews. - Solid knowledge of AWS cloud services (EKS, S3, RDS, DocumentDB, SQS, Kinesis), certification as AWS solution architect is a plus.- Strong knowledge of SQL databases (Postgres) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB). - Strong experience in working with Gitlab/Github or similar platforms. - Strong experience in observability tools and frameworks like Grafana, Opensearch, Prometheus. - Demonstrated knowledge of data structures and algorithms.- Experience in designing foundations of Operational excellence and implementing.- Provide on-call support for the platform and troubleshooting any issues that arise.- Curiosity and passion to learn with a strong bias to action.
