Job Description :As a Senior Salesforce Storefront Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing storefront solutions on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly known as Demandware) platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create captivating and responsive storefronts that drive user engagement and conversion. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior developers to ensure the successful delivery of storefront projects. Key Responsibilities :Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) storefront solutions to support marketplace functionalities and business requirements. Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and business analysts to understand user requirements and translate them into compelling and intuitive user experiences on the storefront. Develop responsive and mobile-friendly front-end components and templates using SFCC Site Genesis framework, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Implement back-end logic and business processes using SFCC Script APIs, pipelines, controllers, and service frameworks. Configure and customize SFCC Business Manager to manage product catalogs, promotions, pricing, inventory, and orders. Integrate third-party systems and services with SFCC storefronts using SFCC OCAPI (Open Commerce API), webhooks, and custom integrations. Lead and mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Stay abreast of SFCC platform updates, new features, and industry trends, and leverage them to optimize and enhance our storefront solutions. Drive best practices in SFCC development, code quality, and governance, ensuring adherence to established standards and guidelines.Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) certifications such as Salesforce Certified Commerce Cloud Developer or Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Developer. Experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware) development, with a strong emphasis on storefront development. Proven experience developing responsive and mobile-friendly SFCC storefronts using SiteGenesis framework, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Deep understanding of SFCC architecture, data model, and concepts such as cartridges, pipelines, controllers, and services. Experience configuring and customizing SFCC Business Manager to manage product catalogs, promotions, pricing, inventory, and orders. Strong proficiency in back-end development using SFCC Script APIs, pipelines, controllers, and service frameworks. Experience integrating SFCC storefronts with third-party systems and services using SFCC OCAPI, webhooks, and custom integrations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate user requirements into compelling and intuitive storefront experiences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira. Experience with marketplace platforms or e-commerce solutions is a plus. (ref:hirist.tech)
