Job Title: Team Lead, Engineering Job Type: Full-time Location : Remote Work Mode Experience: 5 to 8 years Job Description: Engineering Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team of engineers who specialize in Node.js, Python, and automation technologies. He will play a crucial role in overseeing the development and implementation of automated solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency. The person should have a strong technical background and handson experience in Node.js, Python, and automation frameworks, along with excellent leadership skills to guide and mentor the team effectively. The person should have good communication skills for interaction with team members and other units, departments and stakeholders. Responsibilities: Lead a team of engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and technical expertise to support their professional growth and development. Collaborate with stakeholders to define automation requirements, scope, and priorities based on business objectives and operational needs. Understand the requirements and have a solution based approach to issues. Architect, design, and implement automated solutions using Node.js, Python, and related technologies to optimize workflows, reduce manual efforts, and improve productivity. Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for automation, proposing innovative solutions to address business challenges and enhance operational efficiency. Plan, prioritize, and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of automation projects within scope, budget, and quality standards. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions with existing systems, tools, and platforms, ensuring seamless operation and compatibility. Monitor automation performance, analyze metrics, and identify areas for optimization and enhancement to maximize efficiency and reliability. Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in automation, and share knowledge with team members to enhance their skills and expertise. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including management, users, and technical teams, to provide project updates, address concerns, and align priorities with organizational goals. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5 to 8 years of experience in software development, with expertise in programming languages (e.g., NodeJS, Python, C++, etc.) with expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies. Proven track record of leading and managing a team of engineers in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Node.js and Python, with a strong understanding of their respective ecosystems and best practices. Strong technical background in software design, architecture, and development, with hands-on experience in building scalable and robust systems. Experience with agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and DevOps tools and workflows. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Leadership qualities include the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower team members to achieve their full potential. Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and driving excellence in software engineering practices.
