Job Description :As an ATG Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of ATG-based applications to ensure seamless and efficient e-commerce platforms. Your work will directly impact the user experience and overall success of our e-commerce business. This position is integral to our development team, as you will be responsible for implementing business requirements, troubleshooting technical issues, and optimizing the performance of our ATG-based systems.Key Responsibilities :- Designing and developing ATG-based applications and components.- Implementing and customizing Oracle ATG Web Commerce, including ATG repositories, ATG scenarios, and ATG personalization.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Ensuring the scalability, performance, and reliability of ATG-based systems through optimization and performance tuning.- Integrating and customizing ATG with other enterprise systems and third-party applications.- Creating and maintaining technical documentation related to ATG development and customizations.- Participating in code reviews and providing technical guidance to junior developers.- Resolving technical issues and troubleshooting complex problems related to ATG implementations.- Staying updated with new ATG features, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance the e-commerce platform.- Collaborating with QA teams to ensure the quality and stability of ATG-based applications through testing and validation.- Supporting and maintaining existing ATG-based applications, including enhancements and upgrades.- Implementing RESTful web services and API integrations for ATG applications.- Participating in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.- Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.Required Qualifications :- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Java/JEE-based web applications across Dev, QA and Production environments.- Java Performance profiling experience (including thread and heap dump analysis) to help debug issues around memory leak, thread, jdbc connections, sessions, etc.- Strong experience with various monitoring tools such as AppDynamics (preferred), New Relic, Splunk (preferred), Extrahop, vSphere, Solarwinds Orion etc.- Experience with Developer tools, Fiddler and traffic capture tools such as Wireshark.- Experienced with Apache/Tomcat web servers and JBoss application server (v 7.x).- Detailed knowledge of relational databases (Oracle) and SQL queries.- Strong Application and Database debugging experience.- Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities within a fast-paced work environment.- Must be highly motivated and dependable with excellent communication skills.- Production support experience with E-commerce websites is preferred.- Prior experience with the Oracle ATG Web Commerce platform is highly preferred.- Support applications in Cloud platforms like Azure, and AWS are highly preferred.
