Job Roles : Network AdministratorJob Description :Responsibilities :- We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join our team- The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our network infrastructure to ensure seamless operations- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect against threats and attacks- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to network infrastructure- Manage network backups and disaster recovery plans- Strong technical skills in network infrastructure management and troubleshooting- Experience with Cisco routers and switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment- Knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN- Familiarity with network security and disaster recovery protocols- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat.- Troubleshoot network issues related to LAN, Router, and Networking.- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex network issues.- Maintain documentation related to network configurations and changes.- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.- Attention to detail and accuracy- Maintain Customer database.- Able to handle Level 2/ Level 3 support for network issues.- Involved in all escalated cases and helping L1/L2 to resolve the same- Maintain & update documentations.- Monthly Quarterly governance meeting with customers- Preparing RCA for escalated issue.- Manage support cases to enable faster resolution.- Ensure knowledge sharing across the team and enable best practices.- Ability to deliver against deadlines- Ready to work on 24/7 basis- Driving cases and delivery targets with OEM- Must possess good customer handling skills.Qualifications :1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).2. Any certification or equivalent networking certification.3. 3+ years of experience in network administration or a related role.4. Strong knowledge of the OSI Model and its practical applications.5. Proficiency in DHCP, TCP/IP, TCP/UDP, routing, VLANs, IP addressing, and switching.6. Hands-on experience with Cisco and Aruba switches.7. Familiarity with Fortinet Firewalls is a plus.8. Basic understanding of network security concepts.9. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.10. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.11. Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. (ref:hirist.tech)
