Overview :The PL/SQL Developer plays a crucial role in developing, testing, and maintaining high-performance database solutions. They are responsible for creating and optimizing PL/SQL queries, improving data model efficiency, and ensuring data integrity and security.Key Responsibilities :- Designing, developing, and maintaining complex PL/SQL code for applications and database solutions.- Optimizing database queries, indexes, and storage for efficient performance.- Participating in database design and data modeling to ensure scalability and performance.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and address database requirements.- Performing troubleshooting and debugging of database issues and errors.- Implementing data security measures and ensuring data integrity through best practices.- Creating and maintaining technical documentation for database processes and procedures.- Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback for code improvements.- Developing and implementing data migration and integration solutions.- Monitoring and optimizing database performance and resource utilization.- Participating in the planning and implementation of database upgrades and patches.- Providing technical support and guidance to internal teams for database-related inquiries.- Staying updated with emerging technologies and best practices in PL/SQL development.- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.Required Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- Proven experience in PL/SQL development and database management.- Proficiency in writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex PL/SQL queries and scripts.- Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling techniques.- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization in PL/SQL.- Knowledge of database security best practices and data integrity principles.- Familiarity with database administration, backup, and recovery processes.- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.- Strong communication and documentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.- Experience with data migration, integration, and ETL processes.- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and learn new tools and methodologies.- Relevant certifications in PL/SQL or database administration are a plus.- Understanding of version control systems and agile development methodologies.- Knowledge of industry-standard compliance and regulatory requirements for data management..Skills: pl/sql,database management,query optimization,data modeling,debugging.- Exp is 5 to 8 years (ref:hirist.tech)
