Profile : Hardware Networking EngineerJob description :Role & responsibilities :- Managing implementation of IT projects within time and budgets and delivering value and user satisfaction.- Monitoring and optimizing IT expense- Identifying the IT needs of the business on on-going basis and ensuring IT business alignment.- Managing crisis situations which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems.- To evaluate and purchasing of all softwares, hardware and other IT supplies as per project requirement.- Designing the network infrastructure and security policies for the company.- To provide major support for engineering software requirements/availability.- Responsible for IT hardware, software and maintenance procurement.- Development and implementation of new systems.- IT operations, infrastructure & support services.- Administration & maintenance of servers.- Designing the network infrastructure and security policies.- Implementing data backup management of servers.- Maintain / monitor the network and communication systems (leased line,routers,firewall & other IT security appliances .)- Maintain & monitor internet services & email filtering policy- Setting & achieving IT dept objectives.- Builds and maintains vendor relationships.- Evaluate & purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies.- Perform personnel functions- Software licensing laws ensured. Secure access to the corporate network for remote users.- Data security from internal & external attacks.- Manage complex technical hardware or software problems- Mentoring and training new IT support staff- Keeping up to date with the latest technologies- Planning, developing and implementing the IT budget, obtaining competitive prices from suppliers, to ensure cost effectiveness.- AMC & rate contract maintenance for business critical software and hardware- Provide a monthly written report to the DIRECTOR & MD on all aspects of the IT dept.
