Job Description :As a SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint solutions while also ensuring the smooth administration and operation of SharePoint environments.Key Responsibilities :1. Design, develop, customize, and implement SharePoint solutions, including sites lists, libraries, workflows, forms, and web parts, to meet business requirements.2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and propose effective SharePoint solutions.3. Develop and maintain custom SharePoint solutions using tools such as SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).4. Implement SharePoint branding and customization using master pages, page layouts, CSS, and JavaScript.5. Ensure SharePoint solutions adhere to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.6. Administer SharePoint environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of SharePoint servers, farms, services, and features.7. Manage SharePoint permissions, user access, and security settings to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.8. Monitor SharePoint performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance optimization measures.9. Configure and manage SharePoint search, metadata, content types, and enterprise features.10. Implement backup and recovery strategies for SharePoint data and configurations.11. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business users, IT administrators, and developers, to support SharePoint initiatives and resolve technical issues.12. Provide end-user training, documentation, and support for SharePoint solutions and features.Key Skill Sets :- Should have worked on Sharepoint On-prem (SP 2019) building custom apps, integrations and workflows- Good experience in PowerShell- Overall understanding of Sharepoint configuration, administration and support for both On-Prem & Online versions.- Knowledge of Sharepoint migration services- Knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx)Optional Skill Sets :Experience with the following concepts is considered advantageous :- Knowledge of SharePoint REST API and CSOM- Knowledge of Power Automate and Power Apps- Knowledge of SharePoint Governance and Best Practices Roles and Responsibilities :Project Responsibilities :- Be a first-class citizen in a high-performance software development team.- Be involved in the complete software development cycle.- Understand requirements and come up with technical solutions- Develop software / Code as per specifications and requirements provided- Write well-designed, testable code in allocated/planned timelines- Take quality ownership for all that you have delivered.Responsibilities towards Self, Team and Company :- Acquiring the knowledge and proficiently implementing tasks & attaining results.- Learn & implementing new tools & frameworks for increasing efficiency and quality- Align with the company's strategy and road map- Demonstrate respect and empathy among peers and other colleagues- Built trust and demonstrate reliability amongst peers- Able to demonstrate the high achievement mindset and strive towards growth and support transformation (ref:hirist.tech)
