Description:
Knowledge :- Strong understanding of security concepts (eg. CIA triad, access control, cryptography) and security threats (eg. malware, phishing, social engineering).- Working knowledge of network security (eg. firewalls, TCP/IP, VPNs) and system security (eg. OS hardening, cloud security).- Experience with security analysis tools and methodologies (eg. vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, CIS workbench, MITRE ATT&CK).- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex security concepts to non-security audiences.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about security, business, product, and technical challenges.- Knowledge of industry frameworks and standards like NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), CIS benchmark, ISO 27001/27002). Understanding of compliance requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.- Understanding of secure architecture and design principles, including defense-in-depth, least privilege, and secure-by-design concepts.- profound understanding of advanced cybersecurity concepts such as threat modeling, attack vectors, encryption, and network security protocols.
