Responsibilities :Perform daily database administration tasks, including user management, backup and recovery, performance monitoring, and patching.Implement and manage database replication solutions for high availability and disaster recovery.Troubleshoot and resolve database issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance.Secure Oracle databases by implementing and maintaining robust security protocols, including access control and user permissions.Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex database problems.Collaborate effectively with developers and other IT professionals to ensure database support aligns with business needs.Document database procedures and configurations to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain best practices.Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Oracle database technology.Qualifications :4-6 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.Strong understanding of database administration concepts and principles.Experience with database replication technologies and disaster recovery planning.Knowledge of database security best practices and access control mechanisms.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve database issues effectively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Experience with IT project management methodologies (a plus).Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
