About Ottimate :Automated accounts payable software replaces manual data entry by digitising your invoices down to the line item, automatically assigning them your proper GL codes, syncing the information to your accounting software, and providing analytics around purchasing. Ottimate also offers one-click bill pay, inventory, and cloud-based data storage that allows a restaurant to go paperless, or work together over multiple time zones.We are looking for a QA / SDET responsible for developing end to end test automation and a framework for Plate IQ services. You will be responsible for identifying poor customer experience by extensive manual and (as much as possible) automated tests. The mandate is to build the right test automation on the most relevant layer. You will partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to enhance the user experience. You should be innovative, creative, flexible, self-directed, and understand quality assurance procedures and methodologies.Responsibilities :Work closely with product owners and business stakeholders to continuously refine software test requirements, provide feedback on user scenarios, and ensure the product's quality.Work closely with developers to clarify functional requirements, test case reviews, and determine test automation requirements.Implement test design and work on test automation development and test execution.You write robust automated tests for high availability and scalable products.Contribute to improvements in unit testing coverage, design test framework; expand automated testing and automation scenarios/cases.Drive implementation of metrics and frameworks for production monitoring of communication skills.Curiosity and inquisitiveness.Ability to think critically and logically, and "try to break everything" attitude.Ability to understand things and learn quickly.You have a clear understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.Minimum of one year experience writing comprehensive automated tests.Experience with any automation framework (selenium preferred).Experience with testing web and backend applications (UI, databases, APIs, etc).Fluent coding skills (in any coding language).Excellent analytical skills.Good experience with at least one object-oriented language.Good understanding of computer science fundamentals, databases, etc.Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.Experience with: Python / TypeScript / JavaScript.Protractor / Jasmine framework.Mobile testing experience.Experience with any CI tool is a plus.Experience with load/performance testing is a plus.
