Job Description :We at Captain Fresh, are building smart supply chain to deliver the highest quality seafood and meat for the Indian consumer.Our innovations in process management and workforce orchestration along with strong industry credentials are enabling us to deliver the fastest harvest-to-fork in the industry. Our endeavor is to leverage experience across various parts of the value chain - farming, production, delivery to marquee brands - to deliver similar value to the Indian consumers.Responsibilities :Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Databricks and PySpark.Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement data solutions that align with business needs.Optimise and tune existing data pipelines for performance and reliability.Work closely with cloud-based services, particularly Azure or AWS, to deploy and manage data solutions in the cloud environment.Implement data quality and data governance best practices to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data.Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime and data loss.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to data engineering, Databricks, PySpark, and cloud platforms.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data engineering solutions into various applications and systems.Document data engineering processes, architectures, and configurations for reference and knowledge sharing.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers in the team.Requirements :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Master's degree is a plus.Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Databricks and PySpark.Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies.Experience in optimizing and tuning ETL processes for performance and scalability.Knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, and data integration techniques.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Relevant certifications in Databricks, PySpark, Azure, or AWS are a plus.Why Explore a Career at Captain Fresh :If you want to work at a starup with a no nonsense flat organizational structure where everyone values progress and each other's work and it's impact on the business, then Captain Fresh will be a good fit for you.Benefits at Captain Fresh :Better than market rate salary - Group health insurance - stock options - Free Lunch (ref:hirist.tech)
