About the jobRole : Head- Project and DeliveryLocation : Bengaluru (On-site)Experience : 10+YearsPosition Overview : Akaike Technologies, a premier data science company committed to delivering innovative solutions for data-driven decision-making, is currently seeking an accomplished Delivery Head to lead our esteemed Data Science Division. This pivotal role requires adept leadership, technical acumen, and a deep understanding of data science methodologies to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality solutions that exceed client expectations.Key Responsibilities : - Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, data engineers, architects, front-end and back-end developers, and project managers to deliver exceptional data science solutions tailored to client needs.- Collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.- Establish and refine project management processes and best practices to optimize efficiency and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.- Own the P&L for the delivery team- Responsible for revenue growth of existing customer accounts- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and outcomes.- Provide strategic direction and cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the team.- Act as the primary liaison for clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and feedback throughout the project lifecycle.- Monitor project performance metrics, proactively identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify new opportunities and contribute to proposal development.- Partner with the executive committee to execute strategic initiatives that drive business growth and uphold our industry leadership.- Lead the expansion of the delivery team by attracting top talent and overseeing comprehensive training programs.- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering bespoke data science solutions that drive tangible business outcomes.- Foster strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.- Identify opportunities for process optimization and innovation to drive operational efficiency.Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in delivering data science projects and Generative AI, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.- Deep understanding of data science methodologies, machine learning algorithms, and statistical techniques.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.- Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
