About the job : Overview : The MS D365 Techno Functional role is a critical position within our organization, responsible for the successful implementation, customization, and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.This role requires a strong understanding of both the technical and functional aspects of D365, as well as the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that the D365 system meets the needs of the business.Key Responsibilities : - Work closely with clients and stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, process workflows, and technical specifications.- Design and architect technical solutions using Dynamics 365 Commerce, ensuring they align with best practices and meet client needs.- Configure the Dynamics 365 Commerce system based on business requirements, including customizing forms, workflows, business rules, and reports.- Integrate Dynamics 365 Commerce with other systems and third-party applications as needed, ensuring data consistency and smooth information flow.- Plan and execute data migration activities, including data cleansing, transformation, and import, to ensure data accuracy and integrity within the Commerce system.- Develop and execute test plans to ensure that the Dynamics 365 Commerce solution functions correctly and meets quality standards.- Offer ongoing technical support, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions to ensure system uptime and client satisfaction.- Stay current with Dynamics 365 Commerce updates, patches, and new features, and implement system upgrades and enhancements as needed.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and developers, to deliver successful project outcomes.- Lead the requirements-gathering process with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into functional specifications.- Design and configure Dynamics 365 Commerce to meet client requirements, including but not limited to product catalogue setup, pricing, promotions, inventory management, and order management.- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful integration between Dynamics 365 Commerce and other systems such as ERP, CRM, and third-party applications.- Provide expert guidance on best practices for leveraging Dynamics 365 Commerce features and functionality to optimize business processes and drive efficiency.- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and demonstrations for clients to showcase Dynamics 365 Commerce capabilities and empower users.- Lead and mentor junior consultants, providing guidance and support on project delivery and professional development.- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in Dynamics 365 Commerce functionality, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.- Act as a subject matter expert on Dynamics 365 Commerce, assisting sales teams with pre-sales activities including solution demonstrations, proposal development, and client presentations.- Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.- Provide ongoing support to clients post-implementation, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements as needed.Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field- 8+ years of hands-on experience in implementing and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365- In-depth understanding of retail business processes, including but not limited to merchandising, sales, and customer service.- Strong technical proficiency in Dynamics 365 Commerce configuration and customization.- Proficiency in programming languages, such as C#, and JavaScript, and familiarity with the Power Platform.- Modifying the POS application to accommodate specific retail processes and workflows- Defining new data structures within the system to store retail-related information.- Automating and streamlining retail operations.- Knowledge of integrating hardware peripherals with the POS system, such as barcode scanners, receipt printers, and payment terminals- Ability to integrate Dynamics 365 Retail with other systems, services, and APIs, including payment gateways, e-commerce platforms, and back-end inventory management systems.- Experience with integrating Dynamics 365 Commerce with other Microsoft products such as Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, and Power Platform.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams at all levels.- Proven ability to lead and mentor junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex business requirements and propose effective solutions.- Experience working in a consulting environment is preferred.- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Commerce and related technologies are a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
