Overview : As a Technical Project Manager for Data Migration, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of data migration projects within the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful migration of data from legacy systems to new platforms or environments. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.Key Responsibilities : Project Planning and Execution : - Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timeline, and resource allocation.- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and establish clear project goals and objectives.- Lead the execution of data migration projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.Oversaw quality assurance process :- Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project success and identify opportunities for improvement.Team Leadership and Collaboration : - Lead cross-functional teams of technical experts, data analysts, developers, and business stakeholders.- Foster a collaborative team environment, promote open communication, and facilitate effective decision-making.- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to ensure project success and employee development.- Possess a deep understanding of data migration methodologies, tools, and best practices.Risk Management and Issue Resolution : - Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact project delivery.- Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize project disruptions.- Proactively address project issues and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder communication.Stakeholder Communication : - Establish effective communication channels with project stakeholders, including executives, sponsors, and team members.- Provide regular project status updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.- Address stakeholder concerns, requests, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
