Job Description :As an Embedded Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of embedded software and firmware for a variety of applications and products. Working closely with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software developers, and project managers, you will play a key role in bringing our embedded solutions to life. Your primary responsibilities will include : - Participating in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design to implementation, testing, and maintenance.- Collaborating with hardware engineers to understand system architecture, hardware specifications, and interface requirements for embedded systems.- Designing and developing embedded software and firmware using programming languages such as C, C++, or assembly language for microcontrollers and microprocessors.- Implementing device drivers, communication protocols, and low-level software components to interface with peripheral devices, sensors, and actuators.- Conducting unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of embedded software and firmware.- Debugging and troubleshooting software and firmware issues using debugging tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other diagnostic equipment.- Optimizing code size, execution speed, and power consumption to meet performance and resource constraints of embedded systems.- Documenting software and firmware designs, specifications, and test procedures in accordance with industry standards and company guidelines.- Providing technical support and expertise to other teams throughout the product development lifecycle, including design reviews, customer support, and maintenance activities.- Staying informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in embedded systems development.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.- Proven experience in embedded systems development, preferably in a product development or manufacturing environment.- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or assembly language for embedded systems.- Familiarity with embedded development tools and environments such as IDEs, compilers, debuggers, and version control systems.- Strong understanding of microcontroller/microprocessor architectures, embedded systems design principles, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).- Experience with embedded hardware design, schematic capture, and PCB layout is a plus.- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
