Job : Site Reliability EngineerJob Description :We have an excellent opportunity for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Customer and Banking platforms team.- Providing stable customer ready platforms through site reliability engineering practises.- Support and enable application development to iterate faster through to production.- To providing out of hours support to quick respond and resolve incidents to maintain the highest level of service availability to our customers.- Natural sense of urgency, teamwork, and collaboration reflected in daily work ethic.- Strong knowledge of modern machine learning techniques.- Expert proficiency in programming and querying languages, including Python and SQL- Proficiency in big data processing, including Apache Spark and/or Databricks.- Proficiency in technologies like MLFlow, Azure ML services, AutoML etc.- Proven track record of leading projects and cross-functional teams- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.About You :We know not everyone will bring all of the skills and experience, and we are focused on people bringing a growth mindset to their approach to work. Some of the skills we are looking for are below, but don t worry if you don t have all of these as learning on the job is the way we work.But back to some of the skills -- Must have 5+years of relevant experience SRE.- Excellent documentation and communication skills- Strong multi-platform operating system knowledge; such as Linux and Microsoft Windows.- An understand of DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure as Code practices- Development or scripting experience with Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Java, Groovy- Familiar with development SDLC tooling such as IDE s, Git, and CIDC pipelines like Jenkins, CodeFresh- Knowledge and experiences working with Kubernetes or Openshift- Good knowledge and working experience with network level troubleshooting Passionate about technologyWhat will your day look like :In this role you will have be accountable for :- Digital customer platform stability and health- Supporting and improving continuous delivery pipelines- Development using Java- Responding and managing incidents through to resolution- Managing and actioning changes, collaborating with delivery teams- Building our DevOps and SRE capabilities to support customer platforms and improve ANZ agility (ref:hirist.tech)
