Description :We are seeking a highly skilled Lead QA/Senior QA Engineer with extensive experience in automation and functional testing. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Java Selenium, Page Object Model (POM), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) with Cucumber Framework, as well as expertise in database testing, advanced SQL, and REST API automation.Key Responsibilities :Automation + Functional Testing : - Lead and execute automation and functional testing efforts for our software products, ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications across different platforms and environments.Java Selenium : - Utilize Java Selenium for writing robust and maintainable automated test scripts, following best practices and design patterns to ensure scalability and reusability of automation code.POM + BDD Cucumber Framework : - Implement and maintain automation frameworks using Page Object Model (POM) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) with Cucumber, enabling efficient collaboration between QA and development teams and promoting test automation adoption.DB Testing + Advanced SQL : - Perform database testing using advanced SQL queries to validate data integrity, consistency, and accuracy in relational databases, ensuring seamless integration between application layers and backend systems.Rest API Automation : - Develop and execute automated test cases for RESTful APIs using automation tools and frameworks, verifying API functionality, performance, and security in accordance with industry standards and project requirements.Qualifications :Educational Background : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Experience : - 6-12 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation and functional testing.Technical Skills :- Proficiency in Java programming language.- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver for automation testing.- In-depth understanding of Page Object Model (POM) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) with Cucumber Framework.- Advanced SQL skills for database testing and data validation.- Experience in testing RESTful APIs and web services, including API automation using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.Communication : - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Problem-Solving : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions.
